The Lions Club of Tokai has been serving the needs of its communities for almost 50 years. The club is in it’s 50th of service, as the club was chartered in 1977.

The Lions Club of Tokai, fall under the auspices of Lions District 410 West. The club has a membership of 35 members, who believes in Kindness Matters and Selfless Service. The club members are always searching for new projects that will make a difference in the lives of he people we serve, and this service is always in line with the Lions International motto, We Serve.
We support the Lions International Service Pillars of Vision, Hunger, Environment, Childhood Cancer, Youth, Disaster Relief, Humanitarian Aid and Diabetes. In addition to these service of pillars, the club moreover has its own speciality projects which we have been running in the communities with great success. These projects are; The Naked Baby Project, Girls Supporting Girls, and the annual Children’s Christmas Party.

The Lions Club of Tokai is a registered Non Profit Organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organistion (PBO), which essentially means that all qualifying donations made to the organisation entitle the donor to receive a Section 18A Tax Receipt.

Lions Clubs International
Lions Clubs International is the largest service organisation in the world. There are more than 1.4 million Lions worldwide in over 200 countries and in over 46,000 clubs doing volunteer work in their communities helping, leading and supporting the most needy.
The Lions International Mission Statement is:
“To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions Clubs.”

The District Governor of our district, District 410W, is Bevil Lakay,
his theme for the year is “Together We Change Lives”.
Our Lions Clubs International President for 2025-2026 is A.P. Singh,
his theme for the year is “Lead to Serve, Serve to Lead”.
