The Lions Peace Poster theme for 2024 is Peace Without Limits. For over three decades, Lions clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity. Tokai Lions sponsors three local schools to enter this wonderful competition, Kirstenhof Primary School, Westlake Primary School and Capricorn Primary School. Tokai Lions awards a first, second and third prize from each school, and does its own prize giving to the children. The posters awarded first place then go forward to District judging, then Multi-District, eventually for those selected going to International judging with the artist being invited to attend. Each year we are amazed at the incredible artwork which is being produced by the youngsters in our communities.
