Tokai Lions last project each year is our “Christmas lunch” for the seniors at Communicare Home Mez Wallach in Lakeside. For many years we have attended Mez Wallach on a Sunday before Christmas and provide and served over 70 residents with a lovely Christmas dinner, followed by trifle or Christmas cake. For the last few years we have been lucky enough to have jazz band Sunset Cruisin’ attend and provide fantastic music for all to sing and dance to. It is a wonderful event for both Mez Wallach and Tokai Lions, and brings our year of service to a fun and happy close.
