In August 2024, the Zone 11 Bench was finally placed next to the Fynbos Garden in Zandvlei. The bench was purchased and fitted with funds raised from Zone 11 Lions Clubs over the last two years, and with a spot approved by City Council, the bench with its Lions plaque was placed at this beautiful spot. A Zone 11 environmental project, the bench will be used by local residents to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
