Each year on Woman’s Day, Tokai Lions hold a very special pamper day for women in our community who are the survivors of gender-based violence. In August 2024, we hosted 30 women from the victim support units at Steenberg and Muizenberg SAPS. It was a day full of love, gifts and surprises. This year we had the team from Light and Healing come and provide healing hand massages for all our guests, guest speaker, Monique Van Vuuren, music by Tony Red Rose, plus lots of time to spoil our guests. A huge thank you to Blue Route Mall and their retail outlets who generously donated lots of lovely gifts for us to hand out to our guests. We also provide a goody bag for all the ladies to take home full of lovely treats.
